The theme of woman shows itself not only in the films but also at the interviews organised at the Golden Orange.
The documentary named “40 Women in Their 40s” and directed by journalist Tuluhan Tekelioğlu was screened at Akdeniz University. After the film, the interview titled “If Woman Changes, Everything Changes” was held.
A crowded group watched the documentary in which 40 different women in their 40s are depicted. The women living in different districts of Istanbul express their views concerning the issues such as marriage, men, child, love, fear, loneliness and happiness by giving examples from their lives. The director Tuluhan Tekelioğlu, who was applauded frequently during the screening, stated that she aimed at displaying the women who gain “awareness”. Tekelioğlu saying that society will change at the moment women change added that her next project is titled “50 Men in Their 50s”.
The photograph exhibition of the documentary titled “40 Women in Their 40s” will be able to be visited during the festival week.
