The folk singer, Sümer Ezgü, having animated Atatürk in the film, met academics and students of Akdeniz University at the interview held after the screening. Ezgü having told about the set of the documentary handling the “last ball” organised in Bursa for the honour of Atatürk eight months before his death said: “We try to project the worldly aspect of Mustafa Kemal through waltz and the importance that he placed on local values through zeybek.”

Sümer Ezgü that his new project is about Antalya said that he found out some experiences of Mustafa Kemal concerning Antalya in Antalya through his archive search and he would animate this in a short film again. Ezgü stated that he would try to complete his project on 6 March, when Atatürk arrived in Antalya, of 2012. Having claimed that “ceremonial Kemalism” was conducted after Atatürk’s death and the inside of the concept was emptied, Ezgü said: “Atatürk and Kemalism are better understood through such projects. Kemalism cannot be maintained by only greeting at ceremonies.”
